Bummer!

Yes, the previous one I fried was the Mini one, not the Micro. But,
since the Micro was specifically for a PB, I figured out, why not! It's
nice to have it really small, no adapter, but the downsize is no other
SCSI device connected, which is not that much of a problem.

That brings another question, since you say you also have one. Do you
have any problem switching AppleTalk from Alternate Ethernet to
LocalTalk (on the printer port)? I always get an error saying that it
can't switch. I don't know what is causing this. If I restart without
the Micro EN/SC connected, then I get an error once the Finder loaded
saying that "Alternate Ethernet" can not be used and that AppleTalk was
switched to LocalTalk. It shows this error everytime I restart, which is
annoying. I've went to the AppleTalk CP and tried to specifically make
my LocalTalk configuration active, which it seems to be doing, but next
time I restart, it gives me the error.

The way I kinda fix the problem was using the Location Manager. I don't
know why, but I've created 2 locations, 1 LocalTalk and 1 EtherTalk. I
can switch from EtherTalk to LocalTalk without any problem and no error
message. I've checked that AppleTalk on LocalTalk was really active and
it was. So, that would suggest to me some kind of bug in the AppleTalk
CP. BTW, this is under 8.5.1. I'm unable to install 8.6 since it
requires 24MB of real RAM, which I don't have (only 20MB for now).

Just curious if you did experience the same problem.
