Well, the key word here is "had". When I sold my 2300 the Micro EN/SC went
with it. I also used the location manager for switching but that wasn't for
a workaround. I had my MiniDock at work and my DuoDock at home. I would just
select the location I was in when booting up.
I never really tried LocalTalk as both locations were networked via
ethernet.
Location Manager is a nice option. Before I started using it I went through
that whole rigmarole of changing my settings every morning and evening.
