Hello:
I have 2 -2300c's. Both run warmer than I am comfortable with. As I
pondered this one day, I happened to notice an old SC analog board with a
fan in it laying in one of my many well organized junkheaps.
Hmmm,methinks....finding a dc converter from an old portable radio or
something, I wired the two together. Now, we are getting someplace. LOTS of
quiet air. BUT: how to direct it? A piece of cardboard, cut and folded
into a shape that goes from the size the fan, down to an opening as wide as
the fan, but only 1/2inch high. A bit of tape, and away we go. Put this
little gem behind the Duo when the legs are turned down, and the PB will
never break 100 degrees. usually runs about 90 or less.
FWIW, have a good time.
Preacher
p.s.: it also keeps the battery cooler under your hand....
ppss: if you need an adapter, try a flea market...usually boxes full for
1.00 each..
