Hi, List,
I just picked up a 2300 I bought on ebay, and the video has two
vertical stripes about 1" wide overlaying an otherwise perfect screen. I
took up the keyboard to install a RAM chip, and reseated the plug from the
screen cable, which eliminated one stripe completely and only a hint of the
other was visible, but next startup they both came back. Also the screen
is coming apart by the left hinge. Otherwise this is a real keeper. Any
suggestions about the stripes? I need to download a service manual, as all
I have is the 200 one, and I imagine the 2300 has a separate one. TIA.
