Perhaps this is of some help.

I have used two internal drives together in a Dock II. Not two hard drives but a
CD-ROM
drive and a Hard drive, so two SCSI devices on the internal chain are indeed possible.
(In fact they were'nt actually inside the Dock - I simply had the lid off and had
connected
an internal HD & CD-ROM to enable me to do an installation.)

This has set me thinking about putting a CD-ROM inside. There is plenty of room in
there if
you are not using 2 full length nubus cards. A slotless CD-Drive with a hole cut in
the
front would be a possibility - the Floppy would need removing or repositioning. Not as
Apple intended but it would be useful

I do wonder what the value of multiple HD's would be - the Duo's are not able to
accept a
huge SCSI throughput by themselves! I'd asked if anyone had got a SCSI NuBus board
working
in a Dock. Any takers?

On a different note - does anyone know if a trackpad from a 2300c will work in a 2XX
series
duo. I have a duo 2300 frame so I can make it physically fit but will it work?
Anyone
tried this?
