Its a great machine: 040 Power, Color, modem, etc. I own a 2000 iMac 500 and
a lovely PB Duo 230 which is a 33 MHz 030 Grayscale with 12 RAM and 120 HD
and use it for games, e-mail, faxes, icq, quarkxpress, ms word 5.1, and IE 3
(which runs very fast and stable, plus it has java and can run
shockwave/flash)
So since a 280c is even better, go for it!
