Compared to anything not PC-66 or PC-100, everything is expensive.
By careful shopping, I have found good quality FPM for about $1.25/MEG
On the other hand, try finding 128MEG 72 pin SIMMS for any price...

Thats the problem, IMHO. Terminal, while the 8500 still has some future.
Want some good gaming ? Forget the 8100. No PCI is the biggest problem.

But you have a good chance. I would bet that Apple will have an
"unsupported install" option when the full OS X comes out.

Good point, a new iMac is cheap, but it isnt as nearly as much to
operate on ! : )
