As the subject line implies, I have an E-machines Etherdock I am selling. It is essentially an Apple MiniDock with an ethernet port instead of a modem pass-through. It also has additional video circuitry for using an external monitor. I have used this a little with my 230 and my 2300. In fact, I sent this e-mail, and the three previous ones I sent to the list, on my 2300c via the EtherDock connected to DSL at work. It works perfectly with my 230, and (AFAICR) works perfectly with all 2XX Duos. It does seem to lock up my 2300c when using appletalk though, and uploads via TCP seem to lock it up, too. However, it works great for e-mail and browsing the web/downloading. Why it does that, I couldn't tell you. It will not freeze the machine whatsoever if you are not using the ethernet, so you can always use it just like a regular minidock for even a 2300. You still gain the video upgrades to the minidock. I bought it as a New In Box (NIB) item from Ebay a little while ago, and have found that I don't use it too much, so I am going to sell it. (between my Dock II at home and the modem when on the road, I don't have much use for it.) I still have the original box, user manual, diskettes, etc. The unit is in literally mint condition.
