Thanks Marc:

Ethernet now works with my GV Modem/Ethernet PC Card. In the Appletalk
control panel only alternate ethernet Port, Infared Port, and
modem/printer Port where showing up. After deleting the AppleTalk prefs
and restarting the GV Card Port showed up. I then selected it, selected
AppleShare in the Chooser and I was connected. I don't know why this
worked, but it did. Could it have been from a corrupted Appletalk pref?
Hard to believe.

Alternate ethernet continues to show up in the Appletalk Control Panel
along with the GV Card Port, Infared Port, and modem/printer port. I've
done a find search for alternate ethernet and checked the extensions for
outdated extensions, to no avail. I can live with alternate ethernet
continuing to show up now that the GV card is recognized, but I would
like to remove alternate ethernet from the list. Any ideas?

Thanks again. I was about to give up on the card for ethernet
connections. Everything I have read from Boca GV, Apple and Networking
books did not help. Your information was clear and concise.
