The old driver in question is in your System file; I'm guessing you
installed it with some older GV software and you've since upgraded
the OS in place one or more times (one reason I usually do a clean
install to a new folder and manually copy over my old system files).
If you really know what you're doing, you can use Resedit to locate
the resource or resources in question in a copy of your System file
and remove them. There'll be an "enet" resource, and possibly a
corresponding "DRVR" resource. You could then swap the edited System
file with your current one and try booting from it.
The resources may not be appropriately named, so identifying them may
be a matter of looking through the raw code in Resedit's hex editor
for a string that identifies the author.
Chances are you don't want to do that, so reinstalling the System
file is another option. Doing a minimal or recommended install to
another folder (ie. "clean") and then swapping the new System file
with your old one (making sure the old folder becomes blessed) should
do it.
The final option is to simple not worry about it - it really won't do
much if it's not being selected in either of the Appletalk or TCP/IP
control panels.
