This is a Duo 2300 with an internal GV Powerport modem, mostly used in the dock with a GV Platinum 28.8 external modem, connected to the modem port. Apple Talk is configured to the printer port with a HP 5MP printer connected. I installed OS 8.6 and when setting up the Modem Control panel I only get the choices of Printer Port or Internal Modem. (With OS 8.1 I also have the choice of Modem Port, which is what is used.) In the AppleTalk setup, the modem port is recognized. Has anyone else been confronted with this constraint? If so, how did you get the modem port recognized in the Modem control panel? Or other workaround? (FWIW, I don't think I'll be using OS 8.6 much on the Duo - it is glacially slow compared to OS 8.1.)
