Okay, I'll admit that this comes from boredom more than anything, but
is it worth my time to upgrade my 2400/240/6GB/80MB to OS 9? I am
generally happy with 8.6, but I have noticed instabilities over the
past several months. I recently had the DT&T "green light special",
so my machine is physically in top shape as far as I can tell. Is
there any stability advantage to going to OS9? Should I wait and
hope OSX works when it becomes final? Should I shut up and keep
praying for a new sub-notebook? Really, are there good reasons pro
and con for either sticking with 8.6 or should I take the plunge and
upgrade? Thanks as always for this lists invaluable assistance.

BTW, I never did find a hacked driver for my 3com ethernet card, and
since my programming ability left off with Fortan when they still
used IBM punch cards, my hacking abilities are somewhat rusty. Any
last minute advice on how to hack a driver so I can try this card out?

Dave
