OK, using an old Duo 210 and a 80 meg HD, I find that shorting the SCSI ID pins to the frame changes the drives SCSI ID. When I measure the voltage difference between the LED pin and the ground, I only get a very small amount of voltage; 20-30 mV or so during activity. Peter, what type of LED did you use for your activity light ? I tested using a 5 V LED, but not enough juice to make it flash.
