New to the list, forgive me if this is old hat... I have recently purchased a Type IV battery made by BTI for my 280c. After scouring the internet, an answer to my question eludes me... Why does my 280 think the Type IV is a Type I, and what can I do to fix it? The system runs great, but all indicators of battery life are very far off. After only 40 minutes of use, I get a low power warning with screen dim. The system then goes on to run for at least another hour with the battery meters all long since bottomed out.
