There are a lot of improvements to various components. One thing that is
interesting to PowerBook users that are running 9.0.4 is that 9.1 gets back
from sleep much more faster than 9.0.4. I don't know with 8.6, maybe it
doesn't have this problem, but for 9.0.4 owner, that's a welcome
improvement.
But I agree that for 8.6 PowerBook users, 9 doesn't bring that much. Sure,
Sherlock is improved, you also have the Key Chains which are great for
passwords, but it's pretty much it. On my desktop workstation, I appreciate
Multiple Users a lot, since we are 4 to use the computer, but I guess that's
a moot point for PowerBook users...
There has also been updates to various graphics components like OpenGL and
the ATI driver, but again, specially for 2400c owners, that's not going to
help anything...
