I'm accessing the Net through a RoadRunner cable connection. It is routed through a MacSense router to a 2400 w/OS8.6 and a Win95 laptop. While the Win95 box maintains its connection without a problem, the 2400 will often act as if the connection is barely awake...or disconnected. This usually happens after I haven't used it for awhile, e.g., overnight, sleep...or in some cases just being away from the keyboard for awhile. I've tried setting TCP/IP for both "active" and "load only when needed", but it doesn't seem to make any difference. It's not resetting the DHCP connection, though sometimes I can 'Renew DHCP' and get things going, other times even the connection to the router crawls and I can't bring up the router interface via Netscape...but the Win95 path is unaffected. It seems to be a Mac problem, but I can't figure out what other setting might be causing a problem. Thoughts anyone? Thanks....
