Hi, List- I'm a school teacher with a Docked Duo 2300 at my desk. I run the Mac off the dock's hard drive while at school. I installed OS 9.04, mostly because I NEED the security provided by the Multiple Users feature. Can you say S-L-O-W??? I have never tried OS 8.6 on this Mac, having gone from 8.1 to OS9. I'd like to try 8.6 with some version of AT EASE to provide security. However, over the years I've noticed that as our school used newer and newer versions of the Mac OS, At Ease (even updated) made things more buggy. Here's the question... can anyone recommend 8.6 for this machine, or not? If so, haw about which version of At Ease, if any?
