hey all
further to my IDE/2300 drive problems...
i tried to use apple's drivesetup v. 1.7.3 (the newest)
it did not recognize the drive, in fact, it didnt even see the drive
i need something like FWB toolkit, etc
if anyone has an emergency disktools disk for OS 8.1 with FWB, etc, that they know
will work with IDE, and they dont mind sharing it, pls let me know.
seems otherwise more cost-effective to trash the current drive and buy an already
mac-formatted IDE or SCSI from somewhere like ebay...
if anyone has a PB IDE or SCSI good working drive of at least 400megs they want rid
of, let me know what you want for it
