I have a 280c, OS 7.5, 24 MBS RAM, RAM Doubler, external floppy drive, and it sometimes starts up weird: >From the power key, nothing, blank dark screen. I hit the re-start button and the "sleep" light comes on. If I hit a key, it sometimes wakes up, sometimes the light stops blinking. If I hit the power button there is a sequence of musical notes, then nothing, then, sometimes, the duo starts, sometimes not, HD spins, etc. Sometimes this does not happen at all, and everything goes fine. Battery or in the wall, no difference: same erratic behavior. Using a keyboard connected to the floppy drive seems to make no difference. This is my first duo and I don't know what to do. Any advice would be appreciated. it is a great machine and I take it with me everywhere. Thanks. Pete ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
