It's already been suggested that you reset the Power Manager, but I wonder
if this could be the PRAM battery going bad.  One of my 280c's seems to go
flaky if it's off power for a while.  Once I have it in the mini-dock for a
few days, it's fine for a while.  Upshot is that I'm going to go ahead soon
and just replace the PRAM battery, just on general principles.
