Thanks for the feedback on my hard drive problem. I'll be returning that drive.
I now have a different issue. I installed OS 9 onto the originial 1.3Gb HD (no flames
please). In any case the aforementioned GV combo card was acting flaky so I dutifully
updated the software and the firmware, but the 2400 still locks on boot with the card
in
place and locks on insertion. I understand there is a modem enabler update, but the
link
on GV's web site is broken! Does anybody know where I can find the update or any way
to
work around this and get back on Ethernet?
