That's funny you should mention that, since I have
sworn never to buy a pc machine as long as I'm alive.
I thought I could live on Macs for the rest of my
life........until the Sony Vaio Picturebook. I bought
one and love it!!! It's fast, small, and got a cool
digital camera built-in. I think if Apple doesn't get
it right, Sony will become the alternative maker for
really good design, performance, and feature.
All the rest of the pc notebooks out there sucks,
though!!! Let's face it, the reason we buy macs is
not because we want to be subjected to no support
(plug-in wise) on the Internet, no freebies like free
ISPs, no internet discounts (AT&T Worldnet is $4.95
for PC, $14.95 for Mac), slower upgrades (Earthlink
Total Access v2.3 for Mac, v6.0 for PC), limited
software, blah...blah...blah....it's because 1) the
elegant OS, 2) graphics/color management support, but
mostly 3) they kick butt in the industrial design
department. But I'm afraid Sony is catching
up......FAST!!!!!
