The Madsonline Micro adapters are very good and small. You probably
had the same problem as I had a few months ago with the battery: A
fuse on my powerboard blew out, and it gives the red X through the
battery icon in your menu bar. It won't charge your battery anymore.
You can buy a fuse for it for about $7, but is is a SMD fuse, so you
need good soldering skills to put it in. Probably MCE can fix it for
you as well.
