I have just been given a Duo 230 that was assumed dead. After a little
persevering, it did boot, and boots all the time now if I use the off/on
switch on the back of the machine, but will not start using the power button
on the keyboard (The button can be used to shut the machine down, so I think
it's not the key itself). The battery won't work at all, but it will boot
when plugged in using the back switch. Does anyone have any idea what could
be wrong, and if this is curable?
