Hi Marc. I copied the following 3 messages from previous digests. They are
regarding the use of infrared. Sounds very interesting and I had hoped to do
something like this when my current cellular contract expires.

So I can get one of those Nokia 8290s, install OS9.0.4 and be able to
communicate with the IR port on my PB1400? Very cool.
How fast is the connection?
Do you have to have service with voicestream? I currently have a contract
with CellularOne but it expires soon. I've been thinking about looking for a
different provider with a better deal. I'm not sure if Voicestream is
available in Indy. Do I have to look for a certain communications technology
from a cell provider?

voicestream they are one of the few to provide service for the 8290.
