Just did the same thing with a 8250 (Europe/Asia) with complete success, on
the same two devices! Nice taste!!
After my fairly intensive experience with Ericsson and Motorola infrared
failing, its great to see that Nokia actually works with a 2400!!! Note: the
other brands worked with G3 and higher models and Palms)
