Guys (and gals),

TattleTech will not, I repeat, will not tell you whether CardBus is
enabled on your 2400c.
Anyone who runs TattleTech on their 2400c will get the same results: Yes.
But it isn't the case, as Ralph said in a previous post.

CardBus is only semi-implemented in the 2400c 180s. Fully implemented in
the Comet 240s. I got that stright from an engineer at Apple a few years
ago when I bought my first 2400c. Look in the archives and you'll
probably find my post with his comments.

Save yourselves a lot of aggravation and get the MCE upgrade, if you
really need it. Me, I'm chugging along quite nicely on a 180 with nothing
upgraded except maxxed out Ram.
