I was beginning to think your misinforming the list about this came
from a Performa 520, not a Powerbook. Why anyone would go through the
agony of reconstructing the normal 500 Pram battery pack which is cheap and
easily available from iyour Apple reseller is beyond me.
Please describe the battery. The real one is a side by side two
cell arrangement with a three wire twusted wire cable plugging into the
touchpad, and being encased in a brown plastic covering with 616-0021 being
the only printing on the covering.
Regardless of what your little cells say, your PRAM battery is
being recharged all the time, else it wouldn't keep working.
