i have my 230 running sys. 7.5, w/12 MB RAM and 120 MB HD.
I use Open Transport 1.1. Very trouble free, easy install, doesn't use a lot
of memory (8.5 MB free w/fax/printer, etc.)

Browsers: Hate to say it, but Explorer 3 is pro. Has decent java+plugins,
and with 24 MB RAM shockwave/flash also work.

version 2 browsers crash too much due to java errors.

Eudora, Mircosoft Internet Mail/News are all good.

the 230 is still an excellent and productive machine. why fool around with
netscape 1.whatever.

Good luck
