The final Classic version is v2.4.4 (named MacCIM) and still available. I
also use it only for certain email but when earthlink is totally jammed,
I can always get through using any (preferably local) CSV number as an
ISP. You can do that using FreePPP 2.6.2 and a Connect Dialog. They won't
forward email (I use Claris Emailer 2.0v3) for/through other ISP's but
you can get online just fine.
