I have to chime in here too and agree. AO-Hell is has a lot of
international access points. I have traveled to:
Australia and New Zealand

And all these web pages were uploaded from their respective countries
with -argh- AOL.
I keep TWO AOL 3 hour for $5 accounts open for this and another purpose
that should be of interest with people with low-end Macs: You can set up
your friends with "free" (to them) email using one of your old dinosaur
Macs. AOL 2.7 will run on Mac Pluses and you can easily run 3.0 on all
the others.
You set them up with flash sessions (with passords enabled ONLY for the
flash sessions.) Every time they send or fetch their email, it only takes
a two minute connect so a single AOL account can be shared with 5 users
and not go over the 3 hour monthly limit. And when you are traveling
internationally, you can use it to get on the internet!
