Isn't the Apple 16" the one that doesn't work properly as a multisync style monitor - I remember that I had four types of monitors on my machines at the last place I worked - the old apple 15" (lovely even at 1024), the 16", and the two 17" styles(different power switches... The 16" as I remember always tried to default to whatever the setting between 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768 is... I can't remember 'cos I never used that rez on any other monitor. The only way I eventually got around it was by using a combination of 3 monitor socket adaptors I had lying around... but if you get a chance to test it on another monitor I'd love to hear what happens... >The RockRocket + Adaptor dosn't work in the upper slot. It didn't >properly detect the monitor that was attached, and when I moved the >pointer to where the second monitor should be, it was gone and >woudn't come back. It may work with other monitors, just not my Apple >16" Color monitor. ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
