I am looking for a dead and gone 2400 system battery that someone would sell
to me cheap. My wholesale supplier for the other system batteries I carry,
does not yet carry the 2400, but believes they can build it. I said, "If you
build it, we will come!"

Just a reminder, Donny, if you mean the "CMOS", "clock", or "PRAM Battery",
After Hours has PRAM batteries in stock. These are not stale shelved
Apple Varta units from '97, but fresh-built and ready to give you 3
more years of PRAM backup. Do note: as with all modern powerbooks,
it is generally a bad idea to let your Main battery fully discharge
-- as this will quickly also discharge the PRAM battery, lending a
false impression that the PRAM battery has prematurely failed. They
do die, but a good overnight recharge can help distinquish between a
bad battery and a poorly-charged system.
We do the replacement, as well (but we do not sell the battery
separate from the install). Contact us off-list for more information.
If you need your main battery (that is the removable large battery)
replaced, contact us for a competitive repair rate.
