From what I understand, new iMacs and G4s only have Earthlink software on them, though I haven't checked up on it in awhile (I should, but I'm a bit lax on that sometimes). Also, for awhile, Earthlink ran Mac-specific ads in various Mac magazines, though since I don't subscribe to them I again haven't checked lately. I'm not the one to ask about ad campaigns, I tend to ignore advertising :) The alliance is still there, it's just not being advertised very much. I'm afraid I'm not too fond of our advertising people, I'm not sure how effective this "Get Linked!" thing is. Most of the non-employee and non-member folks I've talked to spend more time trying to figure out who the people in the pictures are rather than thinking about getting the service :) Anyway, I think that we are fairly Mac friendly, once you get to know us :) Although I am the Mac guy of my tech support team (they all call me 'Macboy'), the sad fact is that a lot of the techs here don't like Macs and don't touch them. Although this is true in just about every place I've ever been where computer geeks got together, it's not great customer service. Most of the techs know enough about Macs to fix them (and if they don't, they come bug me...:) ), and the broadband techs have generally come out of the ranks of the dial up support, so they're fairly well versed in basic operating system functionality (you won't find someone insisting your computer *must* have a Start menu somewhere). Anyway, it's changed a lot since MindSpring merged (I'm a MindSpringer really) with EarthLink, but it's still a good service I feel. I think I'd use EarthLink even if I didn't work here.
