Myself, I use 7.6.1 on a Duo 270c...with 24mb of ram, 72 mb with ram doubler 2..and I've found it to be QUITE zippy...better than 7.5.5....but 7.5.3 ain't too shady either...and yes, it does depend on the ram...I use 7.6.1 on a SE/30..that uses 80 megs of real ram.. and it flies like a bat outta microsoft hell... 030 macs..are still VERY good macs, especially the early duos and powerbooks (like 165c 180c 150) Of course, a 280c, or a 2300, is preeety cool...if you wanna surf via 0S 8.1....just make sure you have ENOUGH ram-ola This is a OFF TOPIC offering..if you are interested, EMAIL me before it ends up on Ebay..
