I am looking to sell my Duo 230 (no, this is not an ad, I have a buyer :), but before I go through with the transaction, I want to wipe my hard drive clean. I had previously stored confidential information on the machine, and I want to make sure that it is unrecoverable. The machine came preinstalled with Mac OS, and I had done all my file transfers through simple AppleTalk file sharing, so I never needed a dock or floppy drive. Now, I can't seem to figure out any way to reformat the hard drive. So, is there any way to do this, or is there at least some free/shareware program that will make recently deleted files unrecoverable?
