I dunno. I figured, no expected that the 2300 upgrade board would speed up the 280c a tad. A bit. A whisker. Trouble is [running OS8.1] I THINK its actually slower, at least running netscape searches through the dock's e-card/dsl. hmmmm. I've got a 280c with 24mB and a converted 2300 with 22mB, netiher running doubler, running the same system folder. Anybody got a pointer to a benchmark suite that will enable me to put this issue to bed? Is the jury already back in the room and I'm just late on the verdict? I have noticed that the memory requirement for the 280c is almost 50% greater running the ppc processor. Stunning. Perhaps I should revert to 7.5 or 7.6? I dunno. --frankb Franklyn Berry Maison de Pique-Assiette Milwaukee, Wi 53211-3730 (414) 961-1641 ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
