I have a gutted remains of a Duo 230 and I can send you the bottom case (good
shape, some scratches) and the 2 parts of the screen latch (hook and spring)
To replace that latch, you need to remove the 2 square tape off the front
bottom of the screen, remove the 2 screws (REAL CAREFULLY, the lug on the back
snaps off easily) and then the back cover of the LCD should come off. I'm
sure someone here can do a better walkthrough but yes you can replace that
little latch without replacing the whole thing but IMHO replacing the whole
screen involves removing only 6 screws (4 on bottom, and 2 on hinge) and 3
hinge covers.
