Hey Ajax,

Could be the battery.  The problem with these things is: about 20% of 
the time when we have a customer who describes something that seems 
to be PRAM-batt related, and they bring their beastie in  for service 
(you already know we do this work...), it turns out to be something 
else.

But if you want us to check it out, we will.  Contact us off list. 
And there are others here that do similar work... so don't just let 
the problem fester -- life's too short.
