Re: the question about just using two 12 volt solar panel to run a Duo. The
problem with this is the "Open circuit voltage" of a single 12 volt panel
can be around 22 volts! Times 2 and a potential 44 volts into a Duo may do
something bad ;-) Electrolytic caps come in 35 volt ratings which is usual
for 24 volts circuits. They MIGHT work at 44 volts! But for how long.

A "nominal" 12 volt panel actually has a peak power rating often around 17
volts, therefore the LIKELY voltage under a MATCHED load would be 34 volts,
still a little high for safety sake... at least warming up the series
regulator(?) in the Duo a bit!

PowerQwest does make some portable panels, but they have no actually specs
on the Web, except "Watts."
