Following is the response from k s d: Ron....The finder arranges them in the order of how much info in on them... I had this problem at first also...kept moving them around...then after a restart they would be rearranged to the finder's personal preferences.. Maybe there's some kind of way around it...but I changed the name of one of my 6 partitions so that it is always 2nd in line and have learned to live with the others... Or you could drop an alias of Desktop Resetter into your startup items and hit remember every startup..
