In reply to Suzy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and Mark's feedback below: Okay, I guess all three batteries could go bad at the same time since they were purchased close to the same time. So I tried removing the battery and just plugging in each of the two power adapters in turn. Found out that the Duo won't work just from plugging it in that way either. But, since it wouldn't even begin to startup this way I noticed that with the Duo flat on the desktop, if I keep hold of the adapter plug after it's in the Duo and gently pull up on the plug the Duo will get power and can startup. However, as soon as I let go of the adapter plug it looses power and shuts off immediately. Doesn't matter which power adapter I use, same behaviour. Seems to indicate something wrong inside the Duo itself. So I guess now my questions are what would probably need to be fixed and is this something reasonable to attempt myself. As before, all feedback welcome. Simon > At 11:01 AM -0500 on 4/3/01, Mark A.
