Hi Folks

I loaded 8.1 on to a 280 (40MB) memory, and now on 2300C (44MB), and I
definitely wouldn't go back to any of the sevens.

I tried 7.6 on the 2300c, but once I had all the various extensions and
what have you, I was using round about 11MB, and 8.1 uses about12-14
(virtual memory off). 8.1 is using 9.6 on the Quadra 700, 20MB, VM off
(10th birthday in May) as I write this.

I think 8.1 works particularly well with the Aaron Lite extension.

PS I was wondering about 8.6 - I heard somewhere it was the fastest of all
- or was a I just dreaming?

PPS Any ideas for stopping a 2300c screen from giving a jumpy image?

Thanks
