I think when I installed 9.1, the 1.4.1 software was part of the install...however, I replaced those with the 1.4.1 extensions I got from MCE. If you are using the 1.4.1 installer from Apple, to my knowledge and experience trying to install...it won't on a 2400...others on the list have used 'tome viewer'to open it and then manually install the extensions... does this help? -- > From: Ron <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (Duo/2400 List) > Date: Wed, 4 Apr 2001 05:48:24 +0300 > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (Duo/2400 List) > Subject: [Duo2400] 2400, OS 9.1, USB Cards & a couple o funny things > > Hi All, > > > My 2400 is CardBus upgraded. Correct me if I'm wrong. Apple's USB > Adapter Card Support 1.4.1 not required with OS 9.1, right? Seems so. > Cards mount fine. When I tried to reinstall it after 9.1 it read "USB > Adapter Card Support is not supported on this machine". The odd > things: > 1. No "USB" acronym (or anything) below the MacAlly card icon and I > can't enter the text (which means the eject script doesn't work). > 2. The Farallon ethernet card icon when clicked now opens TCP/IP, > instead of AppleTalk control panel. > > Anybody know what might the matter be?
