slightly OT but regarding the same matter: you know when you d/l say a sytem
install CD from apple's ftp site and it comes in segments of a disk image of
the cd (blabla-01of18.smi, and then 1) blabla-0Xof18.part files)?
1. what app do they do that segmenting with, and can it be done at home?
2. the annoying thing is, in order to use that install cd with, say, a Duo
230 that doesn't have a cd drive, i have to copy piece by piece to the HD,
in order to get DiskCopy to then reactivate the image of the cd - eating up
major disk space in the process. Is there any way around that?
