The powerbook SCSI drives maxed out at 2 gigs, I think, and you will 
rarely see anything over 500 megs for sale, even on Ebay.
There does exist a IDE to SCSI adapter card that fits right on the 
droive, but those usually go for $100+ by themselves.  If you do get 
it, you can use much larger IDE powerbook drives.

A full sized dock either has it on the motherboard or can use NuBus 
ethernet cards.  Some minidocks have ethernet, but I am not sure 
which ones.

Small HD means not too many pictures.
