I bring my TiBook with me daily on my commute from NJ to Philadelphia
via Amtrak. It is a wonderful machine to travel with! If I traveled
routinely on Airplanes, my opinion might change, however...

I can attest that it isn't all that fragile, as I carry it in my old Duo
bag, a Belkin Magellan. It doesn't provide much padding, but the 'Book
holds up fine. I don't know what you mean by non-tippability, but it
doesn't cause me any problems. Unlike my Duos and 2400, I can even open
the screen nearly 180 degrees and it won't tip backwards.

Differences of opinion, I guess. I would still like to see an Apple
Subnotebook, but I'm not so certain that I would buy one over the
'Full-size' Ti-Book. It's not a Duo, but it's not an Inspiron 8000
behemoth Desktop Replacement, either.
