I had a Newton 2000 for about a year right after it came out, and
found that it didn't really fit my needs at all. It was trying to be
a PDA and a Laptop, and failed at doing both. Not small enough to fit
in a pocket, but too underpowered to function as a laptop. Yes, the
games were good, but I need to get other things done too.

I ended up selling the Newt2k and getting a used PowerBook Duo 230,
and the Duo was so much more useful. Now if Apple had put the speed
of the 2000 into a 130 form factor, they would have cleaned up in the
PDA market.

And then I got a 280c, then a 2300, and now a 2400 ......

>Hey, I am even willing to trade my MP 2000 for your PB 2400 :-)

Are you joking? You must be joking.
