Well, first of all, this product is DEFINATELY worth more than $40.
It has a built in Ethernet port, which is REALLY hard to come by for
a Duo.
If I still had a Duo, I would pay easily up to $200. That is REALLY
what it is worth. Maybe not $400.
Recently, I sold an Apple mini Dock for $81

What that lacks that your dock has:
1. Ethernet port - you can only get Ethernet to the Apple Dock via
SCSI adapters. Those are a kludge at best.
2. Decent video - the Apple dock only supports 800x600x8bit on
external monitors. The E-Machines does something like 1024x768x16bit,
no?
