Well, actually, it was 11,250 instead of $112.50. If he had done so and it
ended up at a reasonable price, I would hold him to it. However, the second
wacko bid at $405 is what puts me on my guard.
As to being worried about such a small amount of money (as someone
mentioned), it's the feedback, not the money I am worried about. I never
actually harbored any illusions of making money on eBay. I just try to get
the equipment into the hands of people who will use it. It's that or throw
it out, as I can't keep it around cluttering up my apartment. (Getting
Married in a little while...)
Basically long story short, I would rather forgo the extra $295 to have a
legitimate bid from a legitimate bidder. I'm going to have to contact eBay,
it looks like. (after waiting for responses from the bidders, of course)
